This national honor recognizes psychiatrists who have made exceptional contributions to improving the lives of people living with mental health conditions. Dr. Hattan was honored during NAMI New Hampshire's annual meeting in June.
Throughout his career, Dr. Hattan has focused on expanding access to evidence-based, trauma-informed mental health care for children and adults with complex behavioral health needs. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and as associate medical director at New Hampshire Hospital.
