💕The photos below are the courtesy of our lovely patient.
👉Before Treatment (First Photo):
* More diffuse facial erythema (redness), especially over the malar cheek.
* Increased prominence of superficial vascular congestion/telangiectatic appearance.
* Skin appears more inflamed overall.
* Cheek has a deeper red-violet hue suggesting active inflammation.
* Texture appears rougher due to the underlying erythema.
👉After First Treatment (Second Photo)
* Overall facial redness appears reduced.
* Cheek color is more uniform with less intense erythema.
* The inflammatory appearance has diminished, particularly in the central and lateral cheek.
* Skin appears calmer and brighter with less fine wrinkles.
* There is a subtle improvement in skin texture and reflectivity.
* Large Pigmented lesions (solar lentigines/sun spots) remain visible while small ones appear to be a little bit less noticeable, which is expected after only one treatment.
Estimated Improvement
From visual assessment alone:
* Facial erythema: approximately 20–30% improvement
* Vascular congestion: mild to moderate improvement
* Skin tone uniformity: noticeable improvement
* Large Pigmented lesions: minimal change so far (typically require multiple sessions)
💗The patient displays an early favorable response after the first light therapy treatment, with notable improvements in dry eye symptoms and increased facial complexes as an added benefit. Comparison images reveal a decrease in widespread facial erythema and vascular congestion of the malar area, alongside enhanced skin tone uniformity. Facial inflammation appears reduced overall, yielding a calmer complexion and enhanced skin appearance. With only one treatment session, pigmented lesions exhibit minimal alteration, as expected, and additional sessions are likely to yield further enhancements in erythema, vascular changes, and pigmentation. The provided images demonstrate early improvement in rosacea-related facial erythema post-single session, with anticipation of more substantial results following a full treatment course.
