Our residents are discovering the art of Kinusaiga, a no-sew Japanese craft that is taking the creative world by storm in 2026!
Using colorful fabric scraps tucked into specially carved boards, residents create beautiful textured artwork without ever picking up a needle and thread. It's the perfect hobby for anyone who loves fabric, design, and learning something new.

🥤 Great Music Brings Fond Memories! 🥤🎶
What could be better than a refreshing root beer float and an afternoon filled with favorite songs? Homewood Living Plum Creek residents recently enjoyed both at a special Root Beer Float Social featuring the talented Derek Reed!
A favorite among our residents, Derek drew a wonderful crowd as he performed beloved hits from the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. The room was filled with smiles, singing, and cherished memories as residents enjoyed classics made famous by Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Conway Twitty, The Platters, Bobby Darin, and many more.
Thank you, Derek, for bringing joy, nostalgia, and great entertainment to our community. It was an afternoon to remember! ❤️

☕🌸 A Delightful Tradition at Homewood Living Plum Creek 🌸☕
This week, Homewood Living Plum Creek proudly hosted our annual Auxiliary Tea Fundraisers on July 14 and 15. Residents, Auxiliary members, church friends, and community guests gathered together for an elegant afternoon filled with fellowship, delicious food, and wonderful memories.
Guests enjoyed a beautifully prepared menu crafted by our Window Dining Room team, featuring assorted scones with homemade jam, clotted cream, and whipped butter; chopped Caesar salad in radicchio; savory canapés; finger sandwiches; and an assortment of miniature desserts, including chocolate mousse cups and red, white, and blueberry cheesecake. 🍓🫖
Adding to the fun were an array of beautiful handmade door prizes generously provided by our talented supporters.

🎶✨ What a blessing it was to welcome Babbie Mason to Homewood Living Ministries!
Homewood Living Ministries was honored to host Babbie Mason, a two-time Dove Award-winning Christian singer-songwriter, USA Today bestselling author, and television talk show host, for a series of inspiring performances across our communities.

Babbie brought so much more than incredible musical talent. Through her uplifting songs, personal stories, and heartfelt message, she inspired residents, guests, and members of our local church communities with words of faith, hope, and encouragement.

We are grateful for opportunities like these that enrich the lives of those we serve and strengthen the meaningful connections we share with our church partners and surrounding communities. A special thank you to David St. John, Homewood's Director of Ministry Development, whose passion and dedication help make meaningful programs like this possible for our residents.
