When transportation is a barrier to food for families, the Anne Arundel County Food Bank (AACFB) brings the food to the community. Their Mobile Pantry delivers fresh, nutritious groceries directly to food-insecure neighborhoods across Anne Arundel County, meeting neighbors where they are. Johns Hopkins Health Plans awarded AACFB a $10,000 grant to help fund food for mobile distributions and support the program coordinator who keeps it all running. This year, an estimated 16,000 neighbors will be served. We’re proud to share in their ongoing mission to tackle food insecurity in our communities.

World No To***co Day is May 31 — and it's a good time to think about your health. Smoking is the #1 cause of preventable death in the U.S. It raises your blood pressure, harms your heart, and raises your risk for stroke and lung cancer.
More than 480,000 Americans die from smoking-related illness every year. The good news? Quitting makes a real difference. Just one year after stopping, your risk of heart disease from smoking drops by half.
Talk to your doctor about ways to quit. Help is available.
