Life meets you in the waiting room. It asks what you expect, what you have refused to see before, and how willing you are to hope. Hope is what lifts us up when everyday things bring us down. Your waiting room may be an actual place or the space during a retrograde. Our current waiting rooms are many: Venus deeper connections and fulfillment, Jupiter acknowledging our heart, Saturn standing up for ourselves, Uranus awakening to new concepts, Neptune believing our own hype, and Pluto humanitarian ideals. On 10/15 Pluto comes out of the waiting room, where it has been since 5/6. Where is your hope for humanity taking you next?

The power of play and laughter and love are a theme this year into next with Jupiter in Leo. Soon enough Mars will join the fun 9/27-11/25. Some will add to the fun while others will take things too far and potentially take the fun away by making it all about them. Key dates are :10/2, 10/3 (bully energy),10/7,10/16, and 11/16(big push or shove energy).

As I look at the second of the Neptune Pluto sextiles on Tuesday (first 7/25) I heard…if you can’t part the seas then muddy the waters. This is a time of three different decades considering the truth and their illusions. The decades are 1944-1954, 1976-1986, and 2024-2032. In 80 years here is where we stand.

What are the connections that connect us? This is what this astrological period brings to mind. Last night I had a moment on my approach to the mailbox. A rabbit was sitting in the driveway, just sitting and observing the environment. It felt special and private and in a way invasive in my part. Yet I was thrilled to happen upon this moment of reflection. Soon enough I was spotted and the rabbit began to hop off. But for one quiet moment we were together in time.

A little cautionary tale for fall. Today we found a wasp in a room. My husband is very good at catching them. Later he found a second. Then I found one and because the curtain moved we saw a nest!!! This time of year the wasps are setting up so bee careful. Where there’s one there could be more.

“What after all has maintained the human race on this old globe, despite all the calamities of nature and all the tragic failings of mankind, if not the faith in new possibilities and the courage to advocate them.” JANE ADDAMS
