We are proud to announce Steve Lee as the featured speaker for our 2026 Gratitude Picnic at Alina Lodge, taking place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

Steve represents lived Gratitude in Action by reflecting the spirit, purpose, and shared commitment of our community.

Active in Twelve Step recovery since 1989 and deeply rooted in the field of addiction treatment and behavioral health, Steve brings a message shaped by lived experience, humility, and enduring hope. An internationally recognized speaker, he is known for his rare ability to translate the Twelve Steps into real‑world, practical wisdom—making them accessible, meaningful, and transformative.

Steve’s voice embodies the values that bring us together each year: service over self, authentic connection, and deep gratitude for lives restored. His presence at our Gratitude Picnic will invite reflection, celebration, and renewed commitment to the work we share (and, he’s REALLY funny!).

We are profoundly thankful to welcome Steve to Alina Lodge and to gather once again with alumni, families, supporters, and friends for a joyful afternoon of connection and celebration.

We recently hosted Dr. Tian Dayton for her workshop, “Growing Up with Addiction: How Intergenerational Pain Lives in the Nervous System—and How We Repair It with Relational Trauma Repair (RTR).” This powerful session explored the lasting impact of addiction on family systems, and how early life experiences shape emotional regulation, attachment, and relationships across generations.

It was an incredibly impactful event, bringing together professionals for thoughtful dialogue, reflection, and shared learning. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this such a meaningful and engaging experience.

Missed this session? Stay tuned for more opportunities to hear from Dr. Tian Dayton and other guest speakers.

Last week, our alumni managers, Andrea and Nicole, had the opportunity to attend the 2026 TPAS Spring In-Person Collaborative—connecting with passionate alumni and recovery professionals.

Through this experience, our alumni team learned directly from peers, exchanged ideas, and gained new perspectives that continue to expand their skillset. Engaging with others in the field allows them to bring back fresh approaches, strengthen their expertise, and better support our guests throughout their recovery journey.

Thank you to TPAS for hosting this event and for creating a space for alumni teams to continue their growth and education.

This community changes lives—and families.

Because of you, mothers and fathers can stay in treatment, transition into a sober life that was once thought impossible, and build a future the entire family believes in.

Thank you for being part of stories like this. This is gratitude in action.

Over the years, the Alina Gratitude Picnic started as a small gathering of people who simply loved this community. Today, it’s one of our most meaningful traditions—bringing alumni, families, and friends together to celebrate connection, recovery, and the people who make Alina Lodge what it is.

Join us again this June 13th as we honor our history and celebrate the journey forward with a day of fellowship, successes, and gratitude.

And yes… we know Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might be tying the knot that same day—but trust us, this is the celebration you won’t want to miss.

We can’t wait to welcome you back.
