FRIDAY, OCT 9 — Pre-Party Campfire Session

Unplugged / intimate vibes starting at 6 PM around the fire, alternating between musicians. Bring a chair, bring a blanket, settle in.

SATURDAY, OCT 10 — Main Stage
A day of women focused music performances, featuring:
2 pm - Witchcora (Central, MO)
3 pm - D.I.Y. Janitor's Union (Springfield, MO)
4 pm - Luna Hawk (Columbia ,MO)
5 pm - Porch Mud (Central MO)
6 pm - DOT (Little Rock, AR)
7 pm.- Electricide (NW AR)
8 pm - Cold Water Kills (Joplin, MO)
9 pm - Screamer (Memphis, TN)
After-hours river dance party by DJedi

Tickets: $25 minimum suggested donation
Advance donations: Cash App or Venmo

RV / Electric sites available through Griffin Park Grill.
Potato Hog Food Truck

Special guest officiant available for weddings, commitments, or vow renewals.

Our October menu! Many of these will carry over to November and December but we will have a few new flavors and items for Nov and Dec as well. Every flavor and product may not be available every weekend but we are going to try and there may be other items and flavors added occasionally! We still have a few fire ciders left and some other wellness products as well as our summer and custom blended by us winter teas.

We will be bringing back our flavored pecans as soon as we can! Hopefully by opening!

We will hopefully have bread flights, cake flights, snack flights and wellness gift packages available soon as well!

Preparations are beginning for the reopening of 2 Roots Rising! Coming soon - preorders- pick up days - markets - local events- and the stand will be back open on weekends from Friday mornings to Sunday Evenings!

We may be taking a short break from baking till the weather cools off and while we reset for fall and the upcoming holidays but that does not mean we aren’t still creating and growing our roots around here! Tomorrow is the day! We have several confirmed attendees - we are so excited!

***Updates****

1. We are now opening this first meeting up for those who also want to bring a daughter under 18, if you feel your daughter would enjoy this you are welcome to bring a daughter. Our property is somewhat hazardous- especially after dark - as it’s still somewhat raw land so I prefer to not have younger ones running around in the dark while all adults are participating in the tent activities. If you feel your daughter can participate with the group you are more than welcome to bring a younger one. If you click on events at the top of the page you can click attending from there, if bringing a daughter please send me a quick message letting me know and letting me know the age so I can make sure I can better facilitate the gathering, thanks!

2. We will have appetizer snacks out at the beginning of the evening and a few dinner type items and sweets for the end. (Trail mix, grapes, tortilla chips, dips, crackers, cheeses and jam - cranberry and Bri tortillini and pumpkin chipotle sauce, as well as a few sweets including cookie butter cheese and graham crackers!)

3. It starts at 5:00 here at 5679 9 Mile Ridge road - there is parking in both driveways - we will enter the tent together as a group at exactly 5:20 pm

Last but not least - I am Super excited about the first Gathering!

They didn’t come out quite like my vision as I didn’t have much time to do them and my newest Vegan/ GF/ DF and synthetic dye free Marshmellow icing that I’ve been playing around with icing gave me a huge fit - it came out good but to thin for what my plan was and I didn’t have time to redo it. I will say though the taste of the cupcakes to be GF, DF, EF, Soy free, nut free, and vegan / alpha gal safe was perfect - they tasted great IMHO! The icing was ok but I’m still experimenting to perfect it. Presentation 100% needed work! I had to use what I had or could find around here last minute. I had a million ideas in my head just not enough time or supplies to make it happen - I needed a bigger box too - at least they tasted fantastic! Lol In hind site I should have just made them dirt cakes with a tad bit of icing around the edges.
