Wade Boyd Bellah, age 98, of Imboden, AR passed away Friday in Walnut Ridge, AR. Wade was born on November 4, 1927 in Ravenden, AR. the son of the late Bonnie E. Bellah and the Late Pearl Jones Bellah. He was a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Wade started with Heath Funeral Home in Paragould before moving with his wife Pearl to Springdale and going to work for Sisco Funeral Home and retiring. After retirement they moved back to Ravenden and he started part time back with the Heath family in Hardy, AR. When the Heath family decided to retire themself, they sold the funeral home to a long time employee. The funeral home became Wortham Funeral Home and Wade stayed at Wortham until his retirement in June 2025 due to health. Wade was a member of the First Baptist Church of Imboden where he was the Sunday School Director for many years.
Wade is survived by his son Mike Bellah and a daughter Pam Bellah, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren along with many other family and friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 24, at First Baptist Church of Imboden, starting at 10:00 A.M. until service time. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. in the church. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery in Imboden where he will be reunited with the love of his life Pearl who passed away in August 2018.
