Thank you to everyone who was able to come out to our Open House yesterday! We are very pleased with how everything turned out and truly appreciate everyone who took the time to visit Elm Crest. We hope you enjoyed the delicious appetizers and had a chance to see all that our community has to offer. 💙💛

It is Summer Sun Safety Month! As we are heading into the hottest part of the year, take extra precautions. Apply sunscreen every 80 minutes if you’re outside, keep cool inside when you can, and don’t forget to hydrate! Comment your favorite way to stay cool this summer!

It was a windy cook out today, but we are BLOWN AWAY by the kindness and generosity of our community! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to dine and donate to a worthy cause.

Special shout outs to our maintenance and dietary teams who helped set us up for success today, to Lafe Maurer our grill master, and Team Elm Crest walk team who spent their time serving up food to those who came.

✈️ Paper airplanes, teamwork, and plenty of smiles! 📚💙

We teamed up with Harlan Community Library for a paper airplane contest, where kids and residents designed and folded airplanes together before putting their creations to the test! From longest flight and longest airtime to target accuracy, everyone had a chance to show off their flying skills.

Of course, no contest is complete without tasty snacks, lots of laughter, and celebrating our winners with several awards! Thank you to everyone who joined and the library for putting on this intergenerational day of creativity, friendly competition, and making wonderful memories together. ❤️
