Valley Children’s Clinic has a unique opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team.

Applicants must speak English and Spanish, have reliable transportation, demonstrate excellent communication and critical-thinking skills, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced pediatric environment. Medical Assistant certification and current clinical skills are required. Experience with AthenaOne or a similar electronic medical record system is preferred.

Responsibilities include:
• Assisting providers with patient care
• Obtaining and documenting patient histories
• Administering medications, immunizations, and injections
• Performing laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Responding to clinical telephone messages and refill requests
• Maintaining examination rooms, medical supplies, vaccines, and emergency equipment
• Following OSHA, HIPAA, and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Cross-training in laboratory and triage duties

Today marks my 29th anniversary at Valley Children’s Clinic!

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have served our patients, families, and community for nearly three decades. Thank you to Valley Children’s Clinic for allowing me to be part of something so much bigger than myself.
