👁️💕 Pink eye is common in children and in most cases, it’s treatable!
Pink eye (conjunctivitis) can spread easily, especially at school or daycare. Knowing the signs and getting the right care can help your child feel better faster and prevent it from spreading to others.
Common symptoms include:
👁️ Red or pink eye
💧 Watery eyes or discharge
😣 Itching or burning
👀 Swollen eyelids
☀️ Sensitivity to light
💙 Help prevent the spread by washing hands often, avoiding touching the eyes, and not sharing towels or pillows.
🚨 Contact your pediatrician if your child has thick yellow or green discharge, severe eye pain, vision changes, significant swelling, or symptoms that aren’t improving.
If your child has pink eye or you’re not sure what’s causing their symptoms, we’re here to help!
