We are on one of our star residents, Bonnie Still!

Bonnie has resided at The Terraces at Capitol Village for over 2 years.  She enjoys attending the activities we have throughout the day and socializing with her neighbors.

Bonnie says she especially likes her interactions with our staff. In her words "the staff feels like a second family to me."

Today is , a day to recognize the strength, resilience, and determination of the millions of individuals living with chronic disease.

The date 7/10 serves as a powerful reminder that 7 out of 10 deaths in the U.S. are caused by chronic diseases, including heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Raising awareness is an important step toward prevention, early intervention, and better health outcomes.

At our center, we are committed to supporting individuals living with chronic illnesses through personalized, compassionate care that empowers them every step of the way.

Today, we're also asking our team and community to reflect on who inspires them to keep going.

The Terraces at Capitol Village was proud to celebrate Home, anew: 250 Voices of Belonging and Community, Celebrating Our Nation’s 250th Year during a special book signing with our residents, families, team members and community.

At The Terraces at Capitol Village, it was especially meaningful to gather in celebration of the voices, memories and experiences that make this collection so powerful. Each story is unique, but together, they reflect something bigger: the American story itself, shaped by service, sacrifice, hard work, resilience, family and community.

As we acknowledge America's 250th birthday, we are also proud to recognize the brave men and women who have dedicated their lives to service for our country.

The Terraces at Capitol Village hosted a Breakfast with our Veterans event, where we acknowledged local Veterans and residents of our own who are Veterans. We also revealed our Wall of Honor which proudly reflects on the 12 Veterans who currently live on our campus! What a beautiful and memorable moment!
