Congratulations and happy work anniversary this month to Samara Wilson, who is celebrating one year of service at Expressive Pathways! Samara started at EP working as a Behavioral Health Technician with Registered Behavior Technician certification. Samara has spent the past year tirelessly working towards completing her master's degree in ABA and accumulating fieldwork hours towards her BCBA certification requirements. Samara was promoted to the role of Assistant Behavior Consultant in January 2026. Samara is anticipating graduating in May 2026. We look forward to seeing Samara achieve her goals over these next few months. Samara - thank you for your year of professional service to the clients and families of EP.

Congratulations and happy work anniversary this month to one of our fantastic BCBAs, Jessica Ellis, who is celebrating one year of service at Expressive Pathways! Jess first came to EP in 2019 as she was looking for an ethical, quality ABA organization to complete her internship. Jess then transitioned into the BCBA role in 2020, where she remained until her initial departure in 2021. Jess spent the next 5 years obtaining specialized training in the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior. We were thrilled when we reconnected with Jess in 2025, and she has been back on the EP team since. Before joining Expressive Pathways, Jess obtained her undergraduate psychology degree from Bloomsburg University in 2016 before completing her graduate degree in ABA from Penn State Harrisburg in 2019. Jess has been working in the field since at least 2017 and has experience providing services in a variety of roles, from respite services provider to TSS/BHT/RBT to BCBA. In addition to her academic degrees and BCBA certification, Jess also possesses Level 5 Certification in Practical Functional Assessment & Skills-Based Treatment. In her free time, Jess is currently ~nesting~ as she and her husband plan to welcome their first child in May 2026. Jess also enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family. It has been a pleasure to work with Jess again this past year, and we look forward to spending another year together improving the lives of our clients. Jess, we can’t wait to celebrate the arrival of your little one and support you through this amazing time in your life!

A most sincere congratulations this month to Nia Grigsby MA, LBS, BCBA! Nia began working at Expressive Pathways two years ago as a Behavioral Health Technician. Nia continued in the BHT role until August 2025 when she was promoted to Assistant Behavior Consultant. Nia worked hard to complete her degree and obtained her Behavior Specialist License shortly following graduation this past winter. Nia was then promoted to the Behavior Consultant position, where she remained until passing her board exam in April 2026. We are proud of Nia for accomplishing her goals and starting this next chapter of professional growth and development. Congratulations and happy work anniversary this month to Alyssa Steele, M.S., BCBA, LBS who is celebrating three awesome years of working as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with Expressive Pathways this month! Alyssa has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for close to 15 years. She has provided care in various roles such as TSS/BHT, crisis trainer, and BC. Alyssa obtained her BCBA certification in 2016 and she brings a wide range of clinical experiences and expertise to her work at EP. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, and kayaking. Alyssa, we are so grateful for your hard work over these past three years. We look forward to continuing to work together and see you continue to positively impact the lives of the clients in your care!

A huge “thank you” and “congratulations” to our Ms. Virginia Hancock, who is celebrating four remarkable years of working as a Behavior Consultant and Mobile Therapist with Expressive Pathways this month! Virginia has over 25 years of clinical experience, having served in multiple roles over the years in positions from TSS (AKA BHT) to Program Director. In her “spare time”, she teaches and coaches swimming. Virginia is known for going above and beyond the typical call of duty for her families and she has made such an impact in all of her client’s lives. A dedicated, passionate, and experienced clinician – Virginia, we love working with you and are looking forward to another year with you! Jon is celebrating THREE YEARS of working with Expressive Pathways this quarter! Jon started with Expressive Pathways in April 2023 when he joined the team as a Behavioral Health Technician and student analyst intern. Jon graduated from Penn State University in August 2024 with his masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Jon sat for and passed his examination to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in November 2024 – a huge accomplishment and no small feat! Jon then transitioned into the Behavior Consultant role in January 2025, and he is celebrating completing his first year as a BCBA! Jon has done an excellent job adjusting to the role of the BCBA and continues to help our clients and their families invaluably. Jon is best described as calm, patient, caring, and helpful. Thank you, Jon, for all you do for Expressive Pathways and your clients in order to provide high quality levels of treatment and care. We look forward to another fantastic year of working together!
