Ronald Bucca, licensed practical nurse and New York City fire marshal who entered the South Tower to help victims.

Carol Flyzik, former registered nurse and passenger on American Airlines Flight 11.
Debra Lynn Fischer Gibbon, occupational health registered nurse, working at Aon in the South Tower. Geoffrey Guja, registered nurse and also an NYPD firefighter, who rushed to the World Trade Center.
Stephen Huczko, police officer who had earned a nursing degree and planned to return to nursing after retirement.
