Our speech therapists had the opportunity to attend the SOS Approach to Feeding training course this past week!

We are always looking for ways to grow our knowledge and learn new strategies to better support the children and families we serve. This training provided our team with additional tools and feeding strategies to help our little ones develop positive experiences with food and make progress at their own pace.

At SOAR Therapy, we believe learning never stops! We are proud of our team for continuing to grow their knowledge and skills so we can provide the best care possible for our kiddos.
Because at SOAR Therapy, we want every child to grow so they can SOAR! 🦋

🎯 PLAY WITH A PURPOSE! 🎯
At SOAR Therapy, we believe some of the best therapy can look a lot like PLAY! 💚🖤
Our ball pit, slide, and rock climbing wall are more than just fun—they’re tools our therapists use to help children build important skills across Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy! 🙌
🗣️ SPEECH THERAPY
• Encourages communication and requesting
• Builds vocabulary and following directions
• Promotes social interaction and turn-taking
• Creates opportunities for children to communicate during motivating activities
✋ OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
• Develops fine and gross motor skills
• Improves coordination and body awareness
• Supports sensory processing and regulation
• Builds motor planning, balance, and confidence
🏃 PHYSICAL THERAPY
• Strengthens muscles and endurance
• Improves balance, coordination, and mobility
• Works on climbing, stepping, jumping, and navigating obstacles
• Encourages functional movement through play
✨ The goal is simple: make therapy FUN while helping kids build skills they can use every day!
Because when kids are having fun, they’re learning, moving, communicating, and growing! 💚
