Angela is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who recently joined our team at Simple Soul Counseling, where she serves adolescents, teens, and adults in the Harrison community. After returning to the area, she is honored to support individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges and pursue lasting emotional wellness.
Angela specializes in working with adolescents and teens experiencing behavioral concerns, depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and family-related challenges. She is passionate about helping young people regain emotional stability, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills that promote long-term growth and resilience.
While teens and young adults are her primary focus, Angela also provides a supportive and encouraging space for adults facing anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She creates an environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences while learning practical strategies to care for themselves more effectively.
Angela earned her graduate degree in counseling from Southern Arkansas University. She has experience working in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings, providing individual and family therapy to youth across a range of diagnoses and presenting concerns. She is especially committed to helping teens navigate difficult seasons and supporting families in restoring stability, improving communication, and strengthening relationships.
Her counseling approach is collaborative, practical, and developmentally appropriate. Angela values coordinated care and believes in working alongside medical providers and other professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive and well-rounded support.
