Happy 94th Birthday to a true community hero, John F. Heimerdinger! 🎉🚒

Today, Broadview at Purchase College surprised the longtime Armonk Fire Department member, former chief, and fire district commissioner with a special celebration featuring a fire truck, birthday songs, and smiling children from the Purchase College preschool.

For more than 50 years, John served as a firefighter and EMT, helping shape the Armonk Fire Department and supporting countless local causes. His dedication, leadership, and service have left a lasting impact on the community.

Meet Josephine Chiarelli ✨

Originally from Astoria, Queens, Josephine spent her career as the Executive Administrative Director of the American Institute of Architects on Long Island. After moving to Broadview, she quickly became an active part of the community, enjoying baking, knitting, bingo, trivia, and spending time with friends. Josephine loves staying busy and values the strong connections she’s built with both Broadview and High Point residents ❤️

The Broadview chorus performed a special song for Ashley Wade, looking back on her tenure at Broadview, which began before its opening in 2023. She will go on to a corporate position with the parent company Life Care Services, overseeing the opening of other university-based retirement communities.🎉👏
