After 7 months of training, I'm thrilled to share that I've completed my EDS ECHO Fundamentals of the Integral Movement Method (IMM) certification!

It is a newly recognized evidence-based practice designed for people with hypermobility such as hEDS and HSD. However can be used by anybody looking to improve nervous system regulation and core stability.

This is gentle movement based around pacing, proprioception, nervous system regulation, flares, strength progression, and everyday function for people with hypermobility, and those wanting to obtain improved core stability and nervous system regulation.

This training has given me a deeper understanding of how purposeful movement can support self-regulation, core stability, improved movement patterns, flexibility, and daily functioning.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to keep learning and growing so I can better serve the children, individuals, and families I work with. Every new skill is another step toward making a meaningful difference, and I'm excited to put what I've learned into practice!
