Big news in women's health! 🩺
Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS) has officially been renamed Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) — and it matters more than you might think.
The old name was misleading: there aren't actually abnormal cysts involved. The new name better reflects what the condition really is — a complex hormonal and metabolic disorder affecting 1 in 8 women worldwide (170+ million people).
