A rare sighting of some of our midwives and crew out on the town and CELEBRATING! 🎉

Usually the most we can manage is grabbing a quick meal while waiting for a mama in labor.😅

We recently had a wonderful evening at Bluestone Vineyard, where we were honored to receive Shenandoah Valley Best Women's Clinic / OBGYN! 🏆

Thank you to everyone who voted for us and continues to trust us with your care. Supporting families through pregnancy, birth and beyond is truly a privilege, and we're so grateful for our amazing community. 💛

Join us June 1st for Milk & Moon, a new community group for mothers.

Milk & Moon is a new, free monthly support group offered to Brookhaven clients past and present. Lactation support consultant Michelle will facilitate any of your questions related to breastfeeding, such as how to prepare for lactation as a pregnant mom, how to use your pump, help with latching, or weaning an older child.

Our next monthly session will be this coming Monday, June 1, 5:30-6:30 in the Brookhaven classroom.

Join us for support and connection with other moms. Come as you are, free of charge. See you there!

Fear of the absolute worst can’t get in the way of a mom pursuing what’s best.

Anything worth doing comes with a risk. Giving birth, inside of a hospital or out, has risks.

When a mom chooses to pursue a natural birth, let’s not jump to the “what if’s.” She knows them. She’s thinking about them.

Instead, let’s cheer her on, because her body is made for this👏

Here you’ll find:

* Three luxurious, homelike suites complete with a birthing tub, shower, bathroom and private patio area
* Two kitchens, one for staff and the other adjacent to birth suites for clients in labor
* Peaceful, cozy appointment rooms
* Kid-friendly environment, with a small play room for little ones and outdoor playground
* Space for massage therapy, acupuncture, lactation consulting and wellness services
* Plenty of space for family and friends attending births
* Event space for birth classes and other community events

Every labor unfolds differently. Brookhaven birth suites offer a variety of comfort and support tools to help you move, rest, and work with your body through labor.

From the grounding support of a birth stool to the rhythmic movement of a ball or sling, we have an array of tools at your disposal.

In our suites you’ll find:
�- Birth balls for movement and positioning�- Rebozos for comfort and relaxation�- Labor ladders to support active birth positions
- Birth slings to allow rest or gentle movement while suspending weight �- Counter pressure support from your care team and partner�- Birth stools to support upright, physiologic pushing
- Warm water birth tub for pain relief
