The rest of this week, we’ll be honoring the one and only Dolly Parton with her movies, music, and concerts! ❤️🎤

Then on Friday, join us in dressing up for our “Coat of Many Colors” Day! 🌈🧥✨ We encourage everyone to participate and help us celebrate the love, music, kindness, and unforgettable legacy of a true icon!

Because a legend like Dolly deserves a celebration as colorful as she is! 💕

UPDATE: After delays in the full outage for the city to repair the power pole, our power has now been restored!! Our team did an amazing job as did our awesome residents! Thank you all for your patience during the outage!

Good morning family & friends. We just wanted to let you know we will be without power for a couple hours while our city workers repair an electric pole that was damaged during this morning's storm. If anyone needs to reach us during this time please call our Administrator Amy Meeks at 816-651-6675.

🎉🤣🐶🍪⚔️🔥 THERE’S NEVER A DULL MOMENT AT MEADOWVIEW! 🔥⚔️🍪🐶🤣🎉

If you hear laughter coming down the hallway, music playing, or someone yelling “EN GARDE!” during a pretend sword fight… don’t be surprised! 😂⚔️ Around here, ANYTHING can happen when our Activities Department gets involved!

One day we’re cuddling adorable puppies 🐶❤️… the next we’re enjoying chocolate chip cookies & ice-cold soda 🍪🥤, getting creative with some totally FUN ways to paint 🎨, making ooey-gooey s’mores 🔥, whipping up some delicious puppy chow, sipping root beer floats 🍨, enjoying a special performer 🎶, playing games 🎲, or just kicking back, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company!

And YES… sometimes we even have pretend SWORD FIGHTS! ⚔️🤣

At Meadowview Health & Rehabilitation, you truly NEVER KNOW what we’ll be doing next! Our Activities Department is always looking for ways to bring a little more laughter, excitement, silliness, and FUN into our residents’ days. 🥳 We would like to give a shout out to Alyssa and her team from Ascend Hospice for bringing in the adorable puppies, Halen with Three Rivers Hospice for the chocolate chip cookies and soda, Allen, Paul &Tom , and Michael for you great performance!

❤️ Because these aren’t just activities—they’re moments. They’re smiles. They’re belly laughs. They’re friendships. They’re MEMORIES. ❤️

🐾❤️ Yesterday was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of tail wags as our special friend Ozzy from Lily's Pets came to visit our beloved residents at Meadowview Health & Rehabilitation!

Residents had the joy of spending quality time with Ozzy, sharing lots of love—and of course, treating him to his favorite snack, Cheerios! 🥣🐶 It was clear that Ozzy enjoyed every moment too, happily wagging his tail while soaking up all the attention and affection.

Pet therapy brings so much comfort, joy, and wonderful memories to our residents, and visits like these truly brighten everyone's day.

A heartfelt thank you to Lily's Play-N-Stay for sharing Ozzy with us. We are so grateful for your partnership and look forward to welcoming more of your amazing furry friends in the months ahead!
