Today feels a little less sparkly. 💔✨

Dolly Parton gave the world a lifetime of music, laughter, kindness, and joy. Her songs became the soundtrack to so many lives, including those of generations of residents throughout The Waters.

We’ve sung along to her music, danced to her songs, dressed up in her honor, shared stories about her, and made more than a few wonderful memories along the way.

Today, as we look back on one of those fun-filled Dolly days at The Waters, these photos feel just a little more special. 🤍

Dolly, thank you for the music. Thank you for the laughter. Thank you for the generosity, the rhinestones, the big hair, the bigger heart, and all the joy you shared with the world.

Today we say goodbye, but we also celebrate one incredible life and a legacy that will live on for generations.

Rest in peace, Dolly. 🦋✨

Our residents at The Waters of Hartford City enjoyed an afternoon at the casino filled with good company, plenty of laughs, and a little bit of luck. We may not have walked away with any big wins, but we definitely hit the jackpot on a fun day out together!

A tradition our residents look forward to every year! 🦒🐘

Recently, our residents enjoyed our annual trip to the Fort Wayne Zoo! From seeing all of the animals to spending a beautiful day out together, there were plenty of smiles, laughs, and memories made along the way. 🐒🦓

We’re already looking forward to next year’s zoo adventure! 💛

A little sunshine made by some of our favorite ladies!

In celebration of , some of our residents recently got creative and made these beautiful sunflower crafts together. We think they turned out pretty gorgeous… but they still can’t compete with the lovely ladies who made them! 💛🌻

Congratulations to Braylin Ailstock on being voted for June by her peers! 🎉

Braylin is a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant and a sophomore at Taylor University, where she is pursuing her nursing degree. Her kindness, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine care for our residents make a difference every day.

We love introducing new activities that encourage creativity and give our residents a chance to express themselves. Recently, we tried balloon painting, and it was a big hit! Everyone had fun experimenting with a new technique and creating one-of-a-kind works of art. 🎨🎈
