Hi everyone 🤍

It’s been a while since I’ve properly introduced myself, and with so many new faces here lately, I wanted to reintroduce the person behind At Ease Bodywork.

My name is Ashton Schimmer — massage therapist, mom, author, and founder of At Ease Bodywork. Most importantly, I’m a human who understands what it feels like to carry stress, overwhelm, tension, burnout, and the constant pressure to keep going.

At Ease was created to be more than just a massage appointment. I wanted to build a space where people could truly slow down, breathe deeply, relax their nervous system, and feel genuinely cared for.

Every session is tailored to the individual client because no two bodies, lifestyles, or stress loads are the same. Whether you’re coming in for pain relief, chronic tension, emotional stress, or simply an hour to reset, my goal is always to help you leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to yourself.

Over the last year, this business has grown more than I could have imagined, and I’m so incredibly grateful for every client who has supported this dream, trusted me with their care, recommended me to others, or simply followed along here.

At Ease Bodywork is located inside DRIP 712 in Sheldon, Iowa 4 days a week 10am-4pm and inside Real Reflections in Hartley, Iowa 4-6 times a month!

I’m excited to continue growing, creating, and serving this community.

✨ Pricing Update ✨
As At Ease Bodywork continues to grow, pricing will be updated beginning July 1st, 2026.

This decision was made thoughtfully in order to continue providing intentional, high-quality care while protecting the longevity and sustainability of my work.

Current pricing will remain in effect through June 30th for all appointments booked before July 1st.

New pricing beginning July 1st shown in the photo below.

At this time, I will not be taking on any new evening/night clients.

As life and business continue to grow, I’ve had to become more intentional with my schedule and protect time outside of work as well. Existing evening clients will still remain on my schedule.
