Tuesday Nights: A Practice of Coming Back to Yourself

As the day begins to settle, Tuesday evening offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your breath, and return to the present moment.

Our 6 PM practice blends mindful breathwork, grounding Hatha and Vinyasa movement, and a little yoga snack inspired by the Yamas and Niyamas - the guiding principles that invite us to bring greater awareness and intention into everyday life.

We move with curiosity, letting go of comparison, competition, and judgment. Making space for stillness, and close with mindfulness meditation in Savasana, allowing the body and mind to settle before returning to the rhythm of the week.

This is a smaller, more intimate practice where you can move at your own pace, explore what feels supportive, and simply arrive as you are.

No performance. No expectations. There is no finish line. Just time to breathe, move, and come back to yourself.

Tuesday evenings at 6 PM
Space is limited to six participants. Advance reservation is required.

You are welcome here.

Even though we are still experiencing hot summer temperatures, according to the practice of Ayurveda, we are moving into Vata dosha season. Which means cooler, drier weather. And if your skin is already on the dry side, you may need a boost in hydration.

I have partnered with Banyan Botanicals to bring you the best whole body care system to implement and further customize your skin and wellness goals. Let me introduce to you the first three products on the shelf here at the studio:
1- Castor oil: a rich, nourishing, and viscous oil to add directly to the skin or boost your current moisture product.
2- Body oil: lightweight and luxurious, fast-absorbing oil that locks in moisture to promote smooth and supple skin. I use this everyday.
3- Beauty Balm: a luxurious botanical blend of ghee, shatavari, and rose geranium to use head to toe to support a soft, glowing beauty. I love using this in my nighttime routine.

I am committed to bringing you the best products that support your whole wellbeing. These are just the beginning. So let’s welcome Vata season with a balanced and intentional approach.

I was going to make a standard business anniversary post about being thankful to still be here but my heart wanted the floor to speak. So, here’s what my heart has to say:

First, thank you to Marla Robinson for the beautiful roses in honor of my 11 year business anniversary. You have been one of my biggest supporters but also one of my greatest inspirations. I am so thankful to have had you on my side for the last 30+ years.

Little did I know 30 years ago what the path into the future would entail. I didn’t know that the relationships I would develop would transcend client/patient/provider into sisterhood and family. Every single one of you has taught me how to be a better person, mother, friend, nurse and yoga teacher. But that list goes on and on.

I am honored to have witnessed and been able to support you all in your life journey as well from watching your children grow, becoming grandparents, losing parents, navigating devastating diagnosis, overcoming tragedy and experiencing the most joyous occasions. Every moment has been something I hold in a very sacred part of my being. Because what I do isn’t just a job or career. It’s my calling and you helped me discover that.

When I put my sassy pants on and make you see your worth and value, it’s because you also did that for me. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for supporting me and my business. You are the reason I’m here.

So, cheers 🥂 here’s to success and love and many more years in front of us.

THANK YOU ❤️

Many women have finally come to the conclusion that pushing themselves to the brink on a daily basis has made them brittle instead of stronger. And these same women have taken a step back to assess what needs to change in order for them to be resilient and healthy. And that result has been the realization that we can rest. Restorative rest. Without permission. Without excuses. Because we were NEVER meant to be switched “on” 24/7.

After more than 30 years in skincare, I’ve learned that healthy skin is rarely about the latest trend or a quick fix.

It’s about the long game.

The same is true of our health. The small, consistent choices we make over time; how we care for our skin, nourish our bodies, manage stress, sleep, move, and create moments of restoration - compound.

My approach to skincare has evolved alongside my understanding of whole-person wellness. I’m less interested in chasing perfection and more interested in supporting healthy skin and a healthy body for the years ahead.

Sometimes, that means returning to simple, time-tested rituals.

Consistency over complexity. Always.
