The Imagination Muscle

I used to think imagination was something you grow out of.

Somewhere along the way, it got labeled as impractical… childish… unrealistic.

But the more I write, the more I’m convinced imagination is actually a muscle.
If you don’t use it, it doesn’t disappear—it just goes quiet.

Lately, I’ve been trying to listen to it again. Even when it feels awkward. Even when it’s messy.
