Meet Angie Brown, our Evening Operations Coordinator at Harvest Pointe! Angie will be celebrating four years with Thornapple Manor this October, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of our team!

In addition to helping oversee evening operations at Harvest Pointe, Angie also oversees the packaging of Meals on Wheels for the Barry County Commission on Aging.

Before joining Thornapple Manor, Angie spent nine years in customer service with Ford, Chrysler, and GM, as well as several years working as a waitress. Her love of working with people and building relationships has followed her throughout her career — and it’s something she continues to value every day at Thornapple Manor.

Outside of work, Angie stays busy with her family, including her two kids, Lola and Charlie, and her bonus daughter, Willow. When she’s not homeschooling, she enjoys taking her family to the beach for rock hounding, getting creative with painting, drawing, and resin crafts, and pursuing one of her biggest passions—singing!

Congratulations to Oleksandra Andreieva from Housekeeping for being named the Thornapple Manor September Employee of the Month! Oleksandra was nominated by her coworkers for her positive attitude, incredible work ethic, and her willingness to help others. Multiple nominations mentioned that she always goes above and beyond, no matter who needs a helping hand and always does it with a smile!

We brought a little sunshine and island fun to our campus with a Luau! Residents enjoyed some yummy treats, great company, and plenty of tropical fun. 🍍🌺☀️

They were teachers who shaped young minds.
Parents who raised families.
Caregivers who spent their lives helping others.
Farmers who worked the land.
Business owners who built something of their own.
And yes… even a few school skippers and troublemakers! 😉

Every person who comes through our doors brings with them a lifetime of stories, accomplishments, adventures, laughter, challenges, and memories that helped make them who they are today.

At Thornapple Manor, we’re honored to get to know the person behind the resident — because their story didn’t begin here. And it certainly doesn’t end here. ❤️
