Great conversations happen when we take the time to connect. 💚

Employees from our Oklahoma Division recently welcomed Evergreen's Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer, Sharon Gomez (front left), for an engaging Q&A with Executive Director Lisa Booze (front right), division leaders, and staff. The visit sparked thoughtful discussions, answered important questions, and reinforced our shared commitment to supporting one another and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

☀️ Individuals supported by Evergreen in the Nashville area enjoyed a beautiful day at the park during their annual cookout, joined by members of the Evergreen team for a day filled with good food, fresh air, and fellowship.

Away from the usual routine, everyone had the opportunity to relax, spend time with friends, and enjoy a simple day of connection and fun in the community.

If you hear Elvis playing, there's a good chance Robert is nearby!

Robert, who lives in one of our community homes in Shreveport and spends his days at our Day Center, is a huge fan of country music and the King himself. So when he asked if he could trade in the microphone for a day and help out at our corporate office, we couldn't say no!

Robert jumped right in, worked hard, kept everyone smiling, and made the office more fun. Between the laughs, the conversations, and a little Elvis spirit, Robert was the star of the show!

⚾️ Children supported through Evergreen’s foster program in Tennessee enjoyed a special night at a Memphis Redbirds game, cheering on the team from their very own VIP suite! Evergreen Executive Director Michael Jackson even joined in the fun with a photo alongside the Redbirds mascot!

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: For 45 years, Sherri Cornelius has been a shining example of dedication, compassion, and commitment at Evergreen Life Services in Minden, Louisiana. 💚

Since joining Evergreen in 1981, she's served in many roles, including campus support and recreation, vocational services, transportation, direct support, and leadership. Through every chapter, Sherri has remained focused on what matters most: helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live with dignity, respect, and meaningful opportunities.

Today, as Manager of Lewisville Road Group Home, she continues to lead with heart, ensuring the people she supports are included, empowered and valued every day.
