There are many different types of evaluations. Schools can conduct psychoeducational evaluations (psychological and educational assessments). Neuropsychological evaluations are comprehensive evaluations completed by neuropsychologists. You can also have evaluations that are completed in various settings, in addition to schools, such as private clinics, hospitals or academic medical settings, university clinics, or more. Evaluations may be paid for out of pocket, by insurance, or part of the school.
