At Hawk's Family Mortuary & Cremations, we often say that people are our greatest asset. Today, we put those words into action.

During our Quarterly Developmental Training and Meeting, we gathered in a circle of unity and respect, allowing every team member the opportunity to share, listen, and grow. The conversations were honest, inspiring, and a reminder that every voice matters.

This year, we made a special decision to invest directly into the families of those who faithfully serve our families and community. Back-to-school supply packs were provided to staff children and grandchildren, and two students entering high school received gift cards to assist with school preparation.

We also recognized our dedicated employees whose loyalty has helped shape our organization, honoring team members who have served since our first day of operation and those who reached their two-year service milestone.

Finally, we celebrated four recent high school and college graduates, presenting them with gifts as a symbol of our pride in their accomplishments and confidence in their future success.

These moments remind us that excellence begins by caring for the people who care for others.

The legacy of our family and our commitment to service has been no stranger to Havana and the surrounding communities for decades. From community outreach to church affiliation, our roots run deep.

In the late 90s, my grandmother and other family members faithfully served at Rock of Age Funeral Home right here in Havana—laying the foundation for what would become a generational calling.

The Morgan‑Reed family has stood as a staple in this community for years, carrying forward a tradition of compassion, dignity, and unwavering dedication to the families we serve.
