Please join us on Sunday, July 19th from 1:30 - 3:00 for our “Tales from the Timeline”

Featured Guest Speaker will be Cindy Jackson Soria, her program will be in commemoration of the 165th anniversary of the start of the Civil War, Cindy Jackson Soria will share a story of Mason County’s involvement. Using local newspaper accounts from the war era, letters written home by some of Mason County’s volunteer soldiers, and data published online from a number of sources, the details will be intimate and the stories will be compelling and often poignant. Connections will be made to people and places still familiar today. Join us in honoring the contributions and sacrifices of not only the men who served, but also the people back home who loved and supported them.

Also on display at this time will be several artifacts and reproduction clothing from the
Civil War era.

We look forward to seeing you!

This 250th 🇺🇸 is a exciting year for everyone, but especially exciting for anyone who is a descendant of a Revolutionary War Patriot. I’m a descendant of 6 but recently found out about this patriot who served at Valley Forge with Washington. Anyone else out there that has Patriots that need a shout out for their bravery and service to this great 🇺🇸 country!
