Camp Pegasus Homeschool Community is a year-round therapeutic social community for neurodivergent children and teens ages 6–14. Guided by licensed therapists, each afternoon blends creative expression, social coaching, games, and play-based activities in a warm, accepting environment where kids can connect with peers and grow in confidence.

Title: "Emotional G.P.S.: Guiding Children From Frustration, Anger, and Meltdowns Toward Self-Regulation"

Program description: Meltdowns are usually caused by weak assertiveness, problem-solving, & coping skills. Well intentioned caregivers can accidentally escalate situations by using a mismatched support strategy with certain levels of frustration. Attendees will discover a framework to understand four levels of frustration including a compassionate meltdown safety plan. Additionally, you’ll learn proactive preventative coping language to help your child keep calm & decrease the frequency & intensity of tantrums.
