One of the biggest misconceptions in golf is that power comes primarily from the arms. In reality, elite golfers generate clubhead speed from the ground up. The lead leg (left leg for a right-handed golfer, right leg for a left-handed golfer) plays a critical role in creating the vertical ground reaction forces that produce speed, power, and consistency.
