We love being connected with Hope Blooms—a wonderful organization with the perfect name. This blooming nonprofit gives new life to donated flowers by rearranging them into stunning bedside bouquets for local community members. They also bring people together. Yesterday they hosted a wonderful flower-arranging afternoon for our residents, giving everyone a joyful, hands-on chance to create their own beautiful bouquets and truly be part of the magic.

Where a line of old poplar trees once stood outside our north dining room, we have spent the last two years watching history being built. The construction of Hawley’s first middle school and bus barn has completely changed our view—and brought an exciting future with it. As the school opens this fall, we look forward to welcoming Carrie Vetter’s 5th graders for monthly intergenerational activities. We are embracing this new scenery and the wonderful adventures to come.

Red, white, and blooming! We painted these beautiful, patriotic pots of geraniums just in time for the 4th of July! It is always so amazing to see how we can all paint the same picture, yet everyone's turns out beautifully unique.

A big thank you to the Detroit Lakes chapter of Let's Go Fishing for taking us out on the lake. We had a wonderful morning! The weather was beautiful, the pontoon was very comfortable, and your volunteers were absolutely delightful. We truly appreciate all your hard work to make it such a fun experience!

Our lounge transformed into a bustling pop-up boutique this morning, thanks to Hometown Hope! This wonderful nonprofit organization set up a fantastic traveling thrift shop right here for our residents. Everyone received five items completely free of charge, with additional finds available for just $2 each. Smiles were everywhere, and the room was filled with laughter. We are incredibly grateful to Hometown Hope for bringing so much joy to our community today!
