Over 32 years of memories, connection, and ice cream sundaes! As another school year comes to a close, we said a special goodbye to our wonderful 2nd-grade class and their incredible teacher, Sheri Cook.
For the past 32 years, Sheri and I have worked side-by-side every month, bridging the generation gap between our residents and her students. It has been a beautiful partnership filled with so much joy.
Sheri, we bid you a very fond farewell and wish you all the best and look forward to seeing what your next chapter brings! You will be deeply missed.

Hawley Senior Living celebrated Cinco de Mayo with Mexican food, margaritas, bright decorations, and a traditional game of Lotería—similar to bingo. The festivities even included dancing the Macarena!
Cinco de Mayo, celebrated on May 5, has become widely popular in the United States as a time to appreciate and celebrate Mexican heritage. Despite its popularity here, it is not a national holiday in Mexico and is mainly observed in the state of Puebla.
