🎃 Welcome to October, Harmony House family and friends! 🍂

This month, we’re excited to spotlight the AWESOME staff at House 3! 🌟

🎨 Shyla has been with Harmony House for 4 years and works our full-time morning shift. Her favorite holiday is Halloween! When she’s not working, she enjoys painting and traveling. Her favorite foods are steak and crab, and she finds inspiration in her husband and spending time in nature.
✨ Fun fact: Shyla can do a headstand!

🏕️ Kristel works full-time afternoons and has been with us for one year, although she has worked for Harmony House previously. Halloween is also her favorite holiday! Outside of work, you can find her enjoying the outdoors—hunting, fishing, camping, or hiking. Her favorite meal is steak and potatoes, and she is inspired by her boys and her boyfriend. ❤️

🛹 Shawn works our full-time NOC shift and has been with Harmony House for an amazing 8 years! His favorite holiday is Halloween. When he’s not working, he enjoys skateboarding, reading, and gaming. Italian food is his favorite, and his grandma is his inspiration.
🦛 Fun fact: Hippos can’t swim!

🐶 Peyton works our weekend morning shift and has been with us for 1½ years. Her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her hanging out with her dog. Her favorite food is tacos, and she is inspired by her father.
🐄 Fun fact: Cows have best friends! Who knew?!

🐔 Pat has been with Harmony House for just shy of 4 years and works our Friday and Saturday NOC shifts—along with LOTS of relief shifts whenever they come up! Her favorite holidays are Christmas and, of course, her birthday! 🎂 Pat loves pasta, pizza, ice cream, and frog-eye salad. She is inspired by her parents, who taught her that if you want something badly enough, you work hard for it and can achieve it. She also finds inspiration in her kids, her husband of 40 years, and our residents. ❤️Outside of work, Pat loves crafting, making glass flowers for flowerbeds, crocheting blankets, and caring for her 25 chickens, whom she lovingly refers to as “her girls!” 🐓🌸🧶

👏 Thank you, Shyla, Kristel, Shawn, Peyton, and Pat for everything you do for Harmony House and our residents! We appreciate the dedication, compassion, and personality each of you brings to House 3. 💙

🍂 Happy September! Welcome to the “BRRR” months! 🍂

We had such a great time celebrating all of our amazing team members during our Employee Appreciation & Spirit Week! 🎉 It was so much fun, and we want to thank everyone who sent such kind sentiments and recognition to our very deserving staff members. We truly appreciate you helping us celebrate the people who make our team so special! 💙

🌟 This month, we’re highlighting our ROCKSTAR staff at House 4! 🌟

⭐ Angelina works the 6 AM–2 PM shift at House 4 and has been with us for 10 months! Her favorite holidays are Christmas and her birthday. 🎄🎂 Outside of work, she likes to collect bugs, and her favorite food is lasagna. She says her cat is her inspiration. 🐱 Fun Fact: Angelina has a twin! Apparently, we have quite a few staff members with twins—I had no idea! 👯

⭐ Katrina works the 2 PM–10 PM shift at House 4 and has been with us for just one week! Welcome to the team, Katrina! 🎉 Her favorite holiday is Halloween, and she enjoys listening to true crime podcasts. Her favorite food is shrimp. 🍤 Katrina is inspired by simply trying to be the best she can be at whatever she’s doing. She’s also a huge dog lover! 🐶 She currently has eight dogs because she is fostering five puppies that she hopes to find loving homes for. ❤️

⭐ Devoneau works the 10 PM–6 AM shift at House 4 and has been with us for 7 months. His favorite holiday is the Fourth of July. 🇺🇸 Outside of work, he enjoys smoking meat and playing video games. His favorite foods are tacos and steak. 🌮🥩He is inspired by his dad and by being a dad himself. ❤️ Fun Fact: He has been almost 10,000 feet underground! 😲

⭐ Ricky works the weekend 6 AM–2 PM shift, splitting his time between Houses 4 and 5, and has been with us for just under a year! His favorite holiday is Christmas. 🎄 Outside of work, he enjoys swimming and snowboarding, and his favorite food is pizza. 🍕 Ricky says his mom is his inspiration. ❤️ Fun Fact: He says he has broken or fractured every finger! 😳

⭐ Shay works the weekend 2 PM–10 PM shift, splitting her time between Houses 4 and 5. She has been with us for about 7 months. Her favorite holiday is Halloween. 🎃 Outside of work, she enjoys tattooing and other arts and crafts. 🎨 Her favorite foods are Mexican and Indian cuisine. Shay says she is inspired by Nesha and Ashleigh, who encourage her to be a better worker and a better woman. ❤️

⭐ Rain works the 10 PM–6 AM shift on Sunday and Monday nights and has been with us for one year! 🎉 His favorite holiday is Halloween. Outside of work, he enjoys anything involving art. 🎨 His favorite foods are spaghetti and dark chocolate. 🍝🍫 Rain hopes to visit Greenland someday, and his favorite animal is the shark! 🦈

Today we are kicking off our Employee Appreciation Week with a LUAU BBQ! 🍔🌺☀️

And that’s just the beginning! All week long, we’ll be celebrating our incredible Harmony House and Lookout teams with themed dress-up days, surprises, and plenty of opportunities to show our staff just how much they mean to us! 🎉💙

Our staff are the heart of Harmony House and Lookout. ❤️ They show up every day with compassion, dedication, patience, and a whole lot of heart. Without our AMAZING staff, we simply couldn’t do what we do!

Good morning! We would first like to extend our love, thoughts, and prayers out to all in Spokane area who have lost their homes or have been misplaced by these devastating fires! Our hearts are with you during this incredibly difficult time.

On a much lighter note; we are excited to spend August and September highlighting our awesome staff members at houses 2 and 4.

Ariana has only been with us for just under a month, but she has taken this job by the reins and run with it and is doing a fabulous job working our morning shift at house 2! Her favorite holiday is Halloween. Outside of work she likes to paint. Her favorite food is sushi. She inspires herself to do better everyday. She likes to collect clowns.

Jacob jokes he has been here for 9,072,000 seconds or 28.77% of 2026! We appreciate the dedication to the math! He works our mid shift at house 2. His favorite holiday is also Halloween. He likes to go camping, have campfires and has a passion for cars. He is inspired by food and states all food is his favorite!

Kim is our mighty NOC shift at house 2. She has been with us for almost 3 years! Her favorite holiday is Halloween; (I'm sensing a theme here!) Outside of work she enjoys food art, hosting parties, camping and floating, and constantly going to concerts. Her favorite foods are Mexican and Italian. Her kids inspire her to never settle and to keep striving! She loves to skateboard and snowboard. Fun Fact: she was the first female on her freshman football team in high school!

Britney is our weekend morning staff warrior that splits her time between houses 2 and 3. She has been with us a little over a year now. Her favorite holiday is, yep... you guessed it, Halloween! Outside of work she likes to go roller skating, play pool and sing karaoke! Her favorite kind of food is Mexican. She is inspired by her dad. Fun fact: She's a cake decorator!

Peyton works weekend mid-shift split between houses 2 and 3. She has also been with us just over a year. Her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving! Outside of work she likes to read. Her favorite holiday is street tacos. She says her dog inspires her to go to work "to feed his fat butt!" She is the only girl and has 5 brothers! Definitely deserves an award of its own!

Justice is our weekend NOC between houses 2 and 5 and has been with us for about 7 months. Her favorite holiday is also Halloween! Outside of work she likes to catch up on her sleep! (Well deserved!) Her favorite food is Red Lobster biscuits! She is inspired by her mom. Her fun fact is that bees dance to communicate!

As always, we'd like to thank each of our staff members for being an integral part of out little community! We couldn't do it without each of you! We are so blessed!

Happy July!

We hope everyone has a happy, fun, and safe Independence Day!

This month, we are highlighting our amazing House 1B team, along with our weekend staff who split their time between Houses 1A and 1B. We are grateful for everything they do to support our residents and make Harmony House a wonderful place to call home.

Brittany is our full-time 6:00 AM–2:00 PM staff member in House 1B. Although she has only been with us for four months, she is constantly growing in her role and doing an excellent job. Her favorite holiday is the Fourth of July, making this month especially exciting for her! Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and being with her family. Her favorite food is potatoes of any kind. She is inspired by Lisa, who motivates her to be more outgoing and hardworking. A fun fact about Brittany: she is a twin!

Isaac is our full-time 2:00 PM–10:00 PM staff member in House 1B. Though he has only been with Harmony House for two months, he is always asking thoughtful questions and is eager to learn. His favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. He is excited because it falls on his birthday this year! Outside of work, Isaac enjoys playing video games, participating in Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, and watching anime. His favorite food is hamburgers, and he credits his grandfather as his greatest inspiration. One unique fact about Isaac is that he prefers doing math in his head and isn't a big fan of technology.

Elijah is our full-time 10:00 PM–6:00 AM staff member in House 1B and has been with Harmony House for eight months. His favorite holiday is Juneteenth. When he's not at work, he enjoys computer repair and troubleshooting technology. His favorite food is butter chicken, and he proudly shares that he does not like pickles! Elijah is inspired by the hope of a better tomorrow and brings a positive outlook to his work every day.

Loni works Friday through Monday from 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, splitting her time between Houses 1A and 1B. She has been a valued member of the Harmony House team for a year and a half. Her favorite holiday is Halloween. Outside of work, she enjoys playing video games, cooking, and reading. Her favorite foods are chicken finger subs and chicken and wild rice soup. Loni is inspired by her sister, Bry, whose kindness and strong work ethic she admires. Fun facts about Loni: she collects pig-themed items, enjoys cosplay, and has two middle names!

Daevin works Friday through Monday from 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, splitting his time between Houses 1A and 1B. He has been with Harmony House for four months. His favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, and outside of work he enjoys spending time at the gym. His favorite meal is chicken and rice, and he is motivated by his desire to become the best version of himself. Like Brittany, Daevin is also a twin!

Thank you to Brittany, Isaac, Elijah, Loni, and Daevin for your dedication, compassion, and hard work. We appreciate all that you do for our residents and our Harmony House family!
