Happy July!

We hope everyone has a happy, fun, and safe Independence Day!

This month, we are highlighting our amazing House 1B team, along with our weekend staff who split their time between Houses 1A and 1B. We are grateful for everything they do to support our residents and make Harmony House a wonderful place to call home.

Brittany is our full-time 6:00 AM–2:00 PM staff member in House 1B. Although she has only been with us for four months, she is constantly growing in her role and doing an excellent job. Her favorite holiday is the Fourth of July, making this month especially exciting for her! Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and being with her family. Her favorite food is potatoes of any kind. She is inspired by Lisa, who motivates her to be more outgoing and hardworking. A fun fact about Brittany: she is a twin!

Isaac is our full-time 2:00 PM–10:00 PM staff member in House 1B. Though he has only been with Harmony House for two months, he is always asking thoughtful questions and is eager to learn. His favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. He is excited because it falls on his birthday this year! Outside of work, Isaac enjoys playing video games, participating in Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, and watching anime. His favorite food is hamburgers, and he credits his grandfather as his greatest inspiration. One unique fact about Isaac is that he prefers doing math in his head and isn't a big fan of technology.

Elijah is our full-time 10:00 PM–6:00 AM staff member in House 1B and has been with Harmony House for eight months. His favorite holiday is Juneteenth. When he's not at work, he enjoys computer repair and troubleshooting technology. His favorite food is butter chicken, and he proudly shares that he does not like pickles! Elijah is inspired by the hope of a better tomorrow and brings a positive outlook to his work every day.

Loni works Friday through Monday from 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, splitting her time between Houses 1A and 1B. She has been a valued member of the Harmony House team for a year and a half. Her favorite holiday is Halloween. Outside of work, she enjoys playing video games, cooking, and reading. Her favorite foods are chicken finger subs and chicken and wild rice soup. Loni is inspired by her sister, Bry, whose kindness and strong work ethic she admires. Fun facts about Loni: she collects pig-themed items, enjoys cosplay, and has two middle names!

Daevin works Friday through Monday from 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, splitting his time between Houses 1A and 1B. He has been with Harmony House for four months. His favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, and outside of work he enjoys spending time at the gym. His favorite meal is chicken and rice, and he is motivated by his desire to become the best version of himself. Like Brittany, Daevin is also a twin!

Thank you to Brittany, Isaac, Elijah, Loni, and Daevin for your dedication, compassion, and hard work. We appreciate all that you do for our residents and our Harmony House family!

Happy June!

This month, and for the next several months, we will be highlighting our incredible floor staff. If there's one thing that can be said about our direct care team, it's that our houses simply couldn't run without them. They are patient, kind, selfless, and caring individuals who make a difference in our residents' lives every single day. We appreciate all that they do and are excited to introduce them to you!

This month, we're spotlighting the amazing team of House 1A.

Gage works Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and has been with us for three years. His favorite holiday is Halloween, and you'll always find him dressed up and helping make the day fun for our residents. Outside of work, Gage enjoys playing video games. His favorite foods are donuts and chicken finger subs, and he's inspired by superhero stories. Fun fact: Gage says he has over 3,000 Pokémon cards!

Anna works Sunday through Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and is our longest-tenured employee, having been with the company for over 24 years—even longer than the current owners! Anna's family owned the company before Jenifer and Graham purchased it in 2005. As Anna likes to say, she "came with the inventory!" Her favorite holidays are Christmas and Halloween, and just like Gage, she's always ready to dress up for our residents. When she's not at work, she enjoys thrifting. Her favorite food is Mexican cuisine, and she says she's inspired by showing up and doing her best every day. While retirement is on her mind, she doesn't have any immediate plans just yet.

Miranda works Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and has been a valued member of our team for two years. She is a dependable part of our overnight staff, helping ensure our residents receive excellent care around the clock.

May Spotlight: Our Incredible RCCs & Amazing Maintenance Team

Nicci is one of our RCCs and has been with Harmony House for just over a year. Her favorite holiday is the 4th of July because she loves watching fireworks. Outside of work, she enjoys bike riding and barbecuing with friends and family. Her favorite foods are pizza and stir fry. She is inspired by her grandmother, who she describes as the most respected and loving person who did so much for others and kept her going. Fun Fact: Nicci loves watching short drama movies, especially Asian films, and enjoys taking funny pictures with her grandbabies.

Kim has been with us for almost two years this time around but was previously with us for about three years before moving to South Carolina for a while. We’re so happy to have her back! Her favorite holiday is Christmas, and she loves being around people. Outside of work, she enjoys cross-stitching. Her favorite food is cheeseburgers. She is inspired by her husband, Tim, who she describes as caring, understanding, funny, and the reason she keeps going.

We introduced Bryan last month as one of our CBR providers, but he is also one of our RCCs. He has worked for Harmony House for three years. His favorite holiday is the 4th of July, and he enjoys camping, fireworks, and spending time with friends. Outside of work, you can find him watching sports, playing ice hockey, snowboarding, playing guitar, playing video games, listening to music, reading, camping, fishing, or simply relaxing. His favorite foods are Mexican and Chinese cuisine. He is inspired by his son, who motivates him to be a better person. He is also inspired by serving others—whether in the military, social services, caregiving, teaching, or first response—without expecting anything in return.
Fun Fact: He has lived in six different states and twelve cities, but Idaho is his favorite—though he misses living by the ocean.

Roy is one of our maintenance team members and has been here on and off for 11 years. He keeps thinking he’s going to retire but always comes back home to us! Outside of work, he enjoys going to estate sales and camping in the mountains by a creek. His favorite foods are elk steaks, white gravy, and peas. He is inspired by helping others.

Kyle is our other maintenance team member and has been here for just under a year. He describes himself as a family man who loves to hunt, fish, and spend time outdoors, staying as close to the Lord as he can.
