Tomorrow is a day we’ve prayed for, cried over, dreamed about, and sometimes wondered if we’d ever reach.
Tomorrow, Rhet rings the bell. 🔔💛
This bell represents so much more than the end of treatment. It represents countless hospital stays, chemotherapy, spinal taps, surgeries, blood transfusions, sleepless nights, tears, prayers, fear, hope, and the unwavering love of so many people who have walked this road with us.
God has truly moved a mountain.
Our faith has often been no bigger than a mustard seed, but God has shown us that a mustard seed is all He needs to move mountains. Tomorrow, we get to celebrate one of the biggest mountains our family has ever faced.
But if I’m being completely honest…
As excited as we are, this is also the beginning of a new kind of fear.
For over two years, treatment became our safety net. The hospital became familiar. Blood work, appointments, chemo, and routines became our normal. Now we step into the unknown, trusting God in a different way.
The fear of “what if” tries to creep in.
The fear of relapse is real.
The fear of not having treatment as our safety blanket is something only families who have walked this journey truly understand.
So while tomorrow is filled with celebration, it is also filled with faith.
We know the journey isn’t over. Rhet will continue traveling to Atlanta every month for blood work, checkups, and monitoring. We’ll keep praying. We’ll keep believing. We’ll keep trusting the One who has carried us this far.
Thank you to every single person who has prayed, sent cards, donated, encouraged us, loved on our family, and stood beside us. We truly would not have made it without our village.
Tomorrow, we’ll celebrate loudly.
We’ll cry happy tears.
We’ll thank God for every miracle along the way.
And we’ll continue walking forward, one step at a time, believing that the same God who moved this mountain will continue to walk with us through whatever comes next.
“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed… nothing will be impossible for you.” — Matthew 17:20
