Cue the BREASTFEEDING posts it is officially and !!

As a proud advocate, La Leche League Leader, and breastfeeding mom, I am here for it πŸ‘πŸ‘

Breastfeeding is hard and I'm so glad it is recognized and celebrated.

As a reminder, I offer free peer support in my role as a La Leche League so you can reach out anytime looking for advice or even just venting.

Naps go 3-2-1-0, but not at the same time for everyone. The first 3 months are chaotic with some babies already down to two or three naps while others still need four or more. Most settle into two naps by 7 to 9 months and hold there through the first year. The drop to one nap spreads out between 13 and 24 months. Stopping naps entirely is the slowest and most variable step of all, with some kids done by age 2 and 30% of 4 to 5 year olds still napping once a day.

Read the full study at parentdata.org/kids/sleep-survey-results-naps, and tell us about your nap successes (or lack thereof!) below.

I would be so very thankful if you would take the time to vote for me-

My support as a doula always looks different. I recently had the pleasure of caring for one of my sweet clients through a scheduled csection and truly learned so much from her. I loved that she had a birth plan ready to advocate for the things that were important to her, and hiring a doula to help make that happen!

Calm vs chaos, immediate skin to skin, support and peace in the postpartum, breastfeeding, golden hour, all perfectly reasonable accommodations that should happen for every mom. πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ
