Hanging a new U.S. Flag this week for Independence Day and wondering how to retire your old one properly? The UK CERH invites the community to use our U.S. Flag Retirement Kiosk, located at 750 Morton Blvd. in Hazard, KY.

The UK CERH extends our deep appreciation to members of the Oliver Hazard Perry VFW Post 7387 who accepted the flags from our kiosk earlier this week to retire them properly, with ceremonial tradition and respect and in accordance with the U.S. Flag Code.

Thanks also to the members of our team who monitor the kiosk inventory and provide periodic cleaning and refurbishing to provide this service in our community.

For questions or more information about flag retirement, please contact Joshua Adams at 606-439-3557 or [email protected].
