🇺🇸 EKVC Fireworks Celebration –July 2nd 🇺🇸
The Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center is excited to host our annual Independence Day fireworks celebration on Thursday, July 2nd!
For the safety and security of our residents, access to EKVC grounds will be limited to:
✅ EKVC residents and their families
✅ EKVC employees and their families
All other spectators are welcome to enjoy the fireworks display from the top of the hill outside the facility grounds.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we celebrate our nation's independence while ensuring a safe and enjoyable event for our Veterans.

Recognizing Excellence at EKVC
Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center is proud to recognize these outstanding employees for their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to serving Kentucky's veterans. The Veterans and staff at Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center enjoyed a wonderful Hawaiian-themed cookout during National Nursing Home Week, bringing smiles, laughter, and fellowship to everyone involved. Residents and staff gathered together to enjoy great food, tropical decorations, fun photo opportunities, and time spent making special memories. Events like these highlight the strong sense of family and appreciation shared throughout EKVC while honoring the Veterans we proudly serve each day.
