Since 1968, SSGHS has preserved family and local history in south Cook & eastern Will counties, plus Chicago's Roseland/Pullman neighborhoods. SSGHS serves south Cook & north Will counties, IL, including Chicago's Roseland & Pullman communities. on 1st & 2nd Saturdays of the month. As we are staffed by volunteers, it is best to call first, if possible.

A group of hardworking members has set most of the SSGHS Library to rights after the 7/27 tornado caused a window to shatter. However, the library does not have air conditioning, and some of our electrical outlets are not working. While SSGHS will have our Show & Tell meeting tomorrow (Sat., Aug. 8 at 10am) in the auditorium, our library remains closed to researchers.
