To any woman who was erroneously labeled “too much” or “rebellious” or “black sheep” or “difficult”, read this and let every word sink in ❤️.

For all my outcast warrior sisters out there...

Let them say you're too much... too strong... too outspoken... too intense... too independent... or somehow never enough. Let them call you difficult... unapproachable... hard to love... rebellious... trouble.

Let them exclude you.
Let them misunderstand you.
Let them gossip, twist the story, and create a version of you that makes them more comfortable and feel better about themselves.

LET THEM.

You do not have to spend your life defending yourself to people who already decided to misunderstand you. You have been set apart by God for a purpose. You have a calling. You have value. You have a place in His Kingdom that no human opinion can erase... and Sister, never forget this: you were worth the Shepherd leaving the ninety-nine to come after you.

Jesus does not reluctantly love you. He does not tolerate you from a distance. He pursued you, called you, redeemed you, and made you His. They called you hard to handle because you would not bow your head in places where truth was being sacrificed just to keep everyone comfortable.

They called you rebellious because you refused to quietly cooperate with control, manipulation, hypocrisy, and silence. They called you unstable because something inside you kept resisting environments that looked acceptable on the outside but were rotting underneath... but God never signed His name to the accusations people placed on you. This pattern is nothing new.

Jeremiah was dismissed as too young while God had already set him apart before birth.

Esther could have remained unnoticed, but Heaven positioned her for the exact moment her courage would matter.

Paul was feared, judged, and remembered for who he had been while God was transforming him into a messenger who would carry the Gospel to nations.

People have always had a habit of mislabeling what they do not understand. You were never “too much.” Sometimes you simply carried conviction into places that depended on silence. Sometimes your discernment exposed what others wanted ignored. Sometimes your boundaries disrupted people who benefited from you having none.

So they renamed your discernment “attitude.” They renamed your boundaries “pride.” They renamed your pain “instability.” They renamed your refusal to be controlled “troublemaking...” but Heaven had already spoken your name before they ever opened their mouths.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;"
Jeremiah 1:5a

Their labels were never your identity, and you do not have to carry every accusation somebody threw at you simply because they said it loudly enough or repeated it long enough. God is separating your identity from every false word spoken over your life. What people distorted, He can reveal in truth. What people dismissed, He can establish with purpose. What people tried to bury beneath criticism, rejection, and misunderstanding, God can bring into the light with His fingerprints all over it.

“No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17

You were never obligated to become the villain in somebody else's version of the story... but it's okay if you are. Sometimes your presence simply became a mirror for things people did not want to confront within themselves. When people refuse to face what God is exposing in them, it can become much easier to point at you and declare that you are the problem.

Warrior Woman, hear me:

Do not shrink yourself to fit inside someone else's comfort zone. Do not silence what God told you to speak because someone finds conviction inconvenient. Do not abandon healthy boundaries because somebody calls them selfish; and do not build your identity from words the Lord never spoke over you.

You are not who rejection called you. You are not who betrayal reduced you to. You are not the worst thing somebody ever said about you. You are not the false narrative created by wounded voices, careless tongues, and shallow judgment.

You are the woman God called. The woman He preserved through battles that should have destroyed her. The woman He strengthened when nobody saw the fight. The woman He is still healing, refining, teaching, and preparing for His glory... and no amount of rejection, gossip, misunderstanding, or human opinion can cancel what God has ordained.

So, let them talk... you keep walking.
Let them misunderstand... you keep obeying.
Let them question, laugh at, or mock your calling... you keep answering the One who called you.

Heal.
Grow.
Forgive.
Love fiercely.
Stand firmly.
Carry truth with grace... and Warrior Princess...

SHINE.

The darkness does not need another woman trying desperately to fit in. It needs women who know Whose they are and refuse to dim the light God placed inside them.

The moment I realized this truth, I felt my chest tighten and tears well up - because I knew how many women were drowning in the quicksand of false hope.

Detaching isn’t surrender.
It’s salvation.

When you’ve spent years begging, praying, and crying for him to change, letting go of those expectations feels like ripping out a piece of your soul.

I’ve held the trembling hands of countless women as they’ve faced this gut-wrenching reality.

In the raw, vulnerable pages of “The Emotionally Destructive Marriage,” I wrote about this heart-shattering journey. It’s like standing at the edge of a cliff, terrified to jump, but knowing the ground beneath you is crumbling anyway.

You’re not just mourning a marriage.
You’re grieving the death of who you thought he was.
Who you thought you were.
The future you believed you’d have.

But sweet sister, listen closely: when you finally stop clinging to the mirage, when you release your white-knuckled grip on what “should be,” something miraculous happens. The fog lifts.
Your spine straightens.
Your voice returns.

Detaching isn’t abandonment - it’s your first breath of oxygen after years of suffocation.

WEDNESDAY WISDOM.

DYNAMITE POWER TO FORGIVE
-April Chapel, EdS, LPC, LMHC

"Then He (Jesus) breathed on them and said to them, 'Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone's sins, they are forgiven. If you refuse to forgive them, they are unforgiven.'" John 20:23

Jesus is talking about the effect of another person's sins on us, not the forgiveness that happens between God and that person. Forgiving offense means we send the pain away; refusing to forgive means we retain the offense and allow that pain to have safe harbor in our hearts, minds, and even our bodies because the situation surrounding the unforgiveness gets embedded in our cellular memory. It's like revolving credit card debt. Every month we have to make a payment on emotional debt we are possessing. We allow the possibility for other circumstances to trigger similar emotions to the ones we are choosing to retain, increasing our balance even more.

Jesus' instruction to receive the Holy Spirit is divinely connected, in my understanding, to the process of forgiveness. The Holy Spirit imparts "dunamis" power, (where we get our English word 'dynamite') which is the "ability to perform". It is the same power Jesus operated in.

The Holy Spirit, operating in every believer, provides power to forgive any sin against us. By believing and receiving His power to forgive we are able to send away the offense that would otherwise keep us bound and force us to pay interest on emotional debts that have already been paid by Christ. He came to set the captives free and He has provided the dynamite to blast the cell doors of unforgiveness wide open.

HALLELUJAH!!!! 💥💥💥
