For 130 years, Montana has taken care of its own.

At Shodair, nearly 99% of the children and families we serve come from right here in Montana. They are our neighbors, classmates, teammates, coworkers, and friends. They are the families we see at grocery stores, ballgames, school events, and community celebrations.

That’s what makes Shodair special. We were founded on the belief that neighbors help neighbors, and that spirit continues to guide us today. When a Montana child needs mental health care, genetics services, therapy, or hope during a difficult time, Montanans step forward to help.

For 130 years, Shodair has been woven into the fabric of communities across our state. Together, we have faced challenges, celebrated successes, and ensured that Montana children and families have a place to turn when they need it most.

Because caring for Montana kids isn’t just what we do. It’s who we are.

Luke took over Walmart Bozeman as Kid Captain for the day! 💙

As Shodair's 2026 Children's Miracle Network Champion Child, Luke spent the day meeting the incredible Walmart team, sharing his story, selling cupcakes to raise funds for local kids like him, and even trying out a few new jobs. From helping stock shelves and stopping to smell the roses 🌹 to ringing up customers as a cashier, Luke made the most of every moment!

Most importantly, he helped show how donations stay local to support kids and families right here in Montana through Shodair.

The Walmart & Sam's Club Children's Miracle Network campaign runs through July 5, and every donation makes a difference for children like Luke in Montana.
