For the past 17 years, Leigh Fahlquist has spent time each summer volunteering as a cook at a local youth camp.

Pictured here recently at Hellgate Campground, Leigh continues a tradition of service that gives him another opportunity to make a difference in the lives of kids.

“It’s another way to serve kids but with more anonymity,” Leigh said. “It’s a faith-based camp and is a spiritual experience for me.”

Thank you, Leigh, for showing that the Shodair spirit of caring for kids extends far beyond our walls!

Bigfork Book Tour Stop:
This week, our book tour stopped in Bigfork!

We dropped off copies of The Bison and the Firefly at the Bigfork Youth Center, and the kids dove right in, some reading solo, some reading aloud to friends.

Thank you, Jenni Cosand and the Bigfork Youth Center team, for the warm welcome! Thanks to our partners at Stockman Bank, we've handed out nearly 5,000 books across Montana this year.
