You Don’t Have to Carry It Alone
I’m thinking about starting a support group for REAL LIFE.
Not a place where you have to have the right words.
Not a place where someone tells you, “Everything happens for a reason.”
And definitely not a place where you’re expected to slap a smile on your face and pretend you’re fine.
A place where women AND men can come together and talk about the s**t that life throws at us.
💔 When your child stops talking to you.
🎓 When your kids grow up and leave for college and suddenly the house is painfully quiet.
💔 When you lose a parent.
🕊️ When you lose a child.
💔 When relationships change and you don't recognize your own life anymore.
😔 When you’re grieving someone who is still alive.
❤️🩹 When you’re trying to figure out who you are after years of taking care of everyone else.
Sometimes you don't need advice.
Sometimes you just need someone across the table to say, “Holy s**t… me too.”
My vision is a safe, judgment-free gathering where we can talk, listen, laugh, cry, swear if necessary 😉 and realize that none of us are as alone as we sometimes feel.
No fixing. No judging. No pretending.
Just people. Real people. Real stories. Real life.
I'm considering starting this locally and would love to see if there are others who feel like this kind of space is needed.
If you've ever wished you had somewhere to go and just TALK… this might be for you. ❤️
