As we celebrate our nation’s independence, we are grateful for the many blessings God has bestowed upon our country and our community. This Fourth of July, we pause to give thanks for the freedoms we enjoy, the sacrifices made by so many, and the opportunity to serve the families of our community.

Please note that Main Street Family Medicine will be closed Friday, July 3rd, and Saturday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen Monday at 8:00 AM.

June MIPS game is near and dear to Main Street Family Medicine heart because we have our very our Pink Warrior as our Office Manager, Mrs. Stephanie. Our winner for this month’s game is our one and only rockstar, Kristie! Let’s say she came in with a determination this month and won by a landslide. You may not see her face as much on the floor but it’s because she’s endlessly working on our calls, prior authorizations, medication refills, labs, endless insurance calls, and so much more. She shows up day after day helping where ever is asked of her and always carrying a smile that will brighten anyone’s day! She is our MSFM cheerleader that helps everyone around her succeed even if she does not get the recognition for all she does behind the scenes. Please give her a huge shoutout for the amazing job she always does but especially winning our June game of the month!! Congrats Kristie you deserve this and so much more!!!

Help us yell a loud Congratulations to Kelby McGowan for winning the May MIPS game for Main Street Family Medicine. You may not see her face nearly as much around the clinic but she is still working so much behind the scenes helping wherever she is needed and keeping our wonderful provider, Byron Breeding, on track every Friday! We appreciate her willingness to be flexible and work to fill in around the clinic whenever needed putting on many hats and filling various roles from front desk, lab, nursing, or anywhere in between. Happy Nurses’s week from all of us at Main Street Family Medicine! ❤️

At our clinic, caring for patients is truly a team effort. While this week shines a special light on our nurses, we are also incredibly thankful for every member of our family - from our administrative department and billing department to our lab team and clinical staff. Many of our employees wear multiple hats every single day, and each role makes compassionate patient care possible.

A few weeks ago, we chose to celebrate ALL of our employees together with a paid day off and a small gift as a token of appreciation for the dedication, kindness, and hard work, and heart they pour into our patients and one another.

Thank you to the amazing team at Main Street Family Medicine for showing up daily with compassion, professionalism, and servant hearts. We are blessed with the very best family.

Main Street Family Medicine Update

Over the past 3 to 6 months, we have experienced a significant increase in the volume of disability and FMLA-related paperwork requests. These forms require detailed review and completion by our providers and nursing staff, adding approximately an additional hour of administrative work each day.

We understand that these forms are often necessary for work and other important needs. However, due to the impact on patient care time and overall clinic productivity, we will be implementing a fee for the completion of these forms beginning May 1, 2026.

This decision was not made lightly. It is necessary to help offset the increased administrative workload and maintain the level of care our patients expect and deserve.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we remain committed to providing you with high-quality medical care.
