In 2003, Chip Tomblinson purchased the funeral home and monument company, renaming Monument Works to Tomblinson Monument Company. In 2014, Chip separated the monument company from the funeral home to its first office on the south

east corner of First and Green streets in Henderson. In 2016, the monument company purchased the building at 317 First Street, located across the adjoining parking lot of Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Chip managed the monument company until hiring Billy Smith as full-time manager in 2006 to oversee sales and installations. Tamara Lambert joined the team in 2017, specializing in sales and design in addition to acquiring her funeral director's license in 2020. Tomblinson Monument Company is a full-service monument company. We offer sales and installation of monuments, mausoleums, benches, lot markers/corner posts, granite and bronze markers, VA monuments, and pet memorials. We offer monuments in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes with the latest technology in monument design and lettering. We also offer death date cutting services, monument repair, and sandblast repair.
