A few months away from my 50th birthday, I continue to prove to myself that our bodies can and will heal and grow stronger no matter where it starts or how many times it has to restart.

Stories I choose to rewrite, “I can’t because”;

Women are weak
I am too old
An autoimmune disease limits me
Menopause limits me
My body will never be the same after 2 c-sections
I don’t know how

Side note, making crazy faces helps you lift heavy 😜

My son has been invited to play on the under 18 USA National Rugby team!
He leaves to tour South America today! 🎉
This kid has had his mind set on this his entire life, his first word was ball, he slept with a rugby ball rather than a teddy bear and he could do the Haka by the time he was three years old.
There is something incredible about seeing your kid live out his dreams. I couldn’t be happier for him.

The traditional forced-stretch methods is not the same as soft fascia stretch release technique therapy.
The Fascial system is a direct representation of the central nervous system so, adding more trauma to the nervous system by forcing a painful stretch is counterproductive.
Creating a safe and supported feeling in the body allows the central nervous system to let its guard down, releasing and softening into a previously restricted range of motion with immediate and lasting results.
