Okay, let’s talk numbers. Let’s talk statistics.

Still hearing “trading one drug for another”? MOUD (Medication for Opioid Use Disorder) is treatment, and the results matter.

In our Vance Recovery data snapshot, 72% of patients who had been in treatment for more than five years tested fentanyl-negative. For patients in treatment less than 30 days, it was 43%. These are group results from January 1 through August 13, 2026. Recovery doesn’t happen overnight. Treatment takes time, and every person’s path is different, but staying engaged means people keep getting support as they move forward.

MOUD also lowers the risk of overdose and is linked with less criminal activity and fewer arrests or returns to jail. That means more people alive, more chances to rebuild, and more hope for families and communities.

MOUD works. Recovery is possible.
