🎉 The staff of The Healing Journey Hendersonville had an absolute blast last night hosting our Open House!! 🎉

Watching as loved ones, friends, and colleagues showed up to support our practice was such a joy for me as the owner. And watching our providers have the opportunity to show off our new space was so fulfilling- lots of hard work has been put into designing and creating 114 Canfield Place!!

Meet Nolen Balch- the newest addition to our list of counseling interns!!

Nolen is eager to get started and hopes to gain clients of all ages! He brings a plethora of life experience from work in the construction industry to missionary work in Thailand to providing physical therapy to those rehabbing post-surgery. Nolen brings a fresh new perspective to our group and loves working with people!

Please help us welcome Lisa Silva & Lauren White-May to The Healing Journey!!! 💛

Lisa & Lauren will be manning our new locations in Portland & Lafayette, TN beginning next month (weather permitting). They are now scheduling for February in both locations!

Lisa Silva, who completed her internship with us in 2024, is returning as a Masters Level clinician with an associate license in the state of TN. Lisa hopes to be fully licensed within the year and brings a wealth of life experience alongside her training as a mental health counselor. (Many of you may remember her as Elisabeth Matthews from her time with us as an intern 😊) She is trained in Brainspotting for those seeking trauma informed care and enjoys using a faith-based approach for those clients who request spiritual integration as part of their care. Lisa enjoys working with older adolescents and adults!

Lisa can accept Cigna, Aetna, Meritain insurances and self-pay rates start at $110/session.

Lauren White-May, LPC-MHSP, is a fully licensed provider who has specialized training with Autism Spectrum Disorders and ADHD. Lauren is trained in EMDR and plans to pursue specialized training in Somatic-based approaches. She enjoys working with children ages 8+, adolescents and adults!

Lauren is able to accept Cigna, Aetna, Meritain insurances and will soon accept BCBS and UHC as well. Self-pay rates begin at $100/session with sliding scale fees available as needed.

Grief is always complex, but the holidays have a way of really confusing those emotions in a whole different kinda way. That last part is sometimes the one that gets to people the most- being afraid to mention the name of the person/people that are gone. It’s important to talk about them…find peace and warmth in sharing memories. Allow their impact on your life to carry on through your words.

The staff of The Healing Journey Therapy Center, LLC have relocated to our new location on Canfield Place, but I have maintained the lease on Maple Row and have 3 vacant offices for rent

Any professional in a healthcare related field is ideal, but also open to other professionals.

This is an 8 office suite - 7 offices have windows and 1 does not.

Current tenants are Carlin Giles, Jodi Smith, Melissa Cox, Julie Lewellen Flannagan, and a massage therapist Rachael Webb. A lovely group of ladies to share space with 💛💛

Rooms available:

Rear medium size office (in photo below) with one window- $720/month for full time or $150 per day of use

Rear small office with window - $550/month or $150 per day of use

Interior office with no window - currently occupied on Tuesdays but can be rented per day for $150/day or all other weekdays for $400/month

Rent includes ALL utilities
