๐Ÿ’œ Overdose Awareness: Lead With Compassion, Not Judgment. ๐Ÿ’œ

You never truly know what someone else is going through. Addiction, substance use, grief, trauma, and mental health struggles can affect anyone, and shame or judgment can keep people from getting the help they need. Being a good samaritan means choosing compassion.

If you witness an overdose or someone in need:
๐Ÿซถ Stay with them and treat them with dignity.
๐Ÿ“ž Call 911 and get emergency medical help.
๐Ÿ‘ฅ Encourage others to help rather than shame or place blame.

๐Ÿ˜ด Simple sleep hygiene tips for better rest!

๐Ÿง˜ Wind down: Give yourself 30โ€“60 minutes to relax before bed with calming activities like reading or stretching.

๐Ÿƒ Stay active: Regular exercise can help improve sleep, but avoid intense workouts right before bedtime.

โฐ Keep a routine: Go to bed and wake up around the same time each day to support your bodyโ€™s natural sleep rhythm.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Limit screens: Put away phones, TVs, and other screens before bed to help your mind wind down.

โ˜• Avoid caffeine: Limit caffeine later in the day, especially if it affects your ability to fall asleep.

๐ŸŸ Skip heavy foods: Avoid oily, greasy, or large meals close to bedtime to prevent discomfort.

๐ŸŒก๏ธ Keep it comfortable: A cool, comfortable bedroom can make it easier to sleep.

๐ŸŒ‘ Darken the room: Keep your bedroom as dark as possible to support your natural sleep cycle.

Small habits can make a big difference! ๐Ÿ’™

Recognizing the fathers, father-figures, and caregivers who have offered their love, guidance, support and strength in so many ways. We also recognize that these holidays can be complicated and cue mixed emotions. For those missing their fathers, grieving, navigating difficult dynamics, longing to be a parent, or carrying heavy emotions, we are thinking of you!

May you give yourself grace and space to notice what you feel. Sending love to everyone!

Men, keep breaking the stigma.
Men, keep showing up for you.
Men, keep leaning into your vulnerabilities.

Men go to therapy, too.
