Spring is springing! Last week was beautiful weather at SL. We took Mrs. L out for some much needed fresh air and she visited with family outside for over an hour! Grammy paid us a visit and cuddled up as well. We are also starting our summer garden again this year. Strawberries have been planted! Can’t wait to show you all the beautiful garden and fresh food later this summer.

When we say family business, we mean it! Last week, our girls set up the tree (our two daughters and nieces). Tonight, our son, Tristan, set up a tree for Mrs. A’s room. It was a surprise right at bedtime and she loved it! We also added some more festive decor around the house to brighten spirits.

Mrs. L is getting settled in great at Silver Lining! During her first week here, she got to meet our kiddos and puppy, Graham Cracker, got a full shower, nails done, and enjoyed some fresh fall air. We are so blessed with amazing caregivers. Mrs. Tina really shows God’s love through her sincere care for our residents.
