Clive Davis, Music Mogul With a Golden Ear for Talent, Dies at 94. He signed Janis Joplin to kickstart his career, made Bruce Springsteen and Whitney Houston household names and carried Carlos Santana and Aretha Franklin to newfound fame.

Clive Davis, the hands-on hitmaker with a “golden ear” who brought Janis Joplin, Whitney Houston and Bruce Springsteen to the world and revitalized the careers of Carlos Santana, Rod Stewart and Aretha Franklin, died Monday. He was 94.

Davis, most recently chief creative officer of Sony Music Entertainment, a former head of labels Columbia, Arista Records and J Records and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, died at his home in Manhattan, a rep announced. He recently had been hospitalized with an upper respiratory infection.-the Hollywood reporter

Legendary NASCAR driver Kyle Busch dies at 41. Busch was 41. He won two NASCAR Cup Series titles and 63 races in the series.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch has died at the age of 41. NASCAR and Richard Childress Racing announced Busch's death on Thursday. "We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community," NASCAR said in a statement.

The announcement followed an initial post on Thursday from the Busch family that stated he was hospitalized with a severe illness. The illness that Busch suffered was not confirmed.
Busch was one of the most prolific drivers in NASCAR history. He had 63 Cup Series wins and won the 2015 and 2019 series titles. Busch is the winningest driver in NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts and Craftsman Truck series history, with 102 and 69 wins, respectively.
Busch had raced at NASCAR's highest level since 2005. He had raced for RCR since 2023.

David Allan Coe, the country singer-songwriter who wrote the working class anthem “Take This Job and Shove It″ and had hits with “You Never Even Called Me By My Name” and “The Ride” among others, has died. He was 86.

Coe’s wife, Kimberly Hastings Coe, confirmed his death to Rolling Stone on Wednesday.

She described him as one of the best singers and songwriters of our time.

“My husband, my friend, my confidant and my life for many years. I’ll never forget him and I don’t want anyone else to ever forget him either,” she wrote to the publication.

A statement from a Coe representative to People said he died around 5 p.m. Wednesday. The cause of death wasn’t disclosed.

Whether he was labeled outlaw or underground, Coe was clearly an outsider in Nashville’s music establishment, even throughout his successes as an in-demand songwriter and singer, eventually developing a core following around his raw, often obscene lyrics and a checkered and somewhat mysterious past.

Darrell Sheets, a longtime regular on the A&E reality competition series Storage Wars died early this morning at his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was 67.

Lake Havasu City police said he died of what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

According to a police department statement obtained by Deadline, officers were dispatched to Sheets’ home around 2 a.m. local time, where they discovered Sheets and pronounced him dead. The department’s Criminal Investigations Unit was notified and responded to the scene to assume the investigation, which is ongoing.
